Wrexham manager Dean Saunders has recruited ex-Dragons player Terry Darracott as his assistant.
"I'm delighted with the chance, I worked well with Dean at Blackburn," Darracott told the Wrexham website.
Ex-Everton defender Darracott, 57, has been working as a European scout with Bolton since November 2007.
Another former Wrexham player - Dave Brammer - has been training with the club after the 33-year-old fell out with League One side Millwall.
